Yahoo Finance Adds Four Cryptos On Its iOS App

Yahoo Finance is a news, real-time stock quotes, and market information, giant. It has recently announced a partnership. The media giant has partnered with TradeIt, a platform that integrates brokerage services. The partnership trading of four cryptocurrencies on Yahoo Finance’s iOS app.

Yahoo recently published a blog post and stated that it has enabled the new function on its iOS mobile app. The iOS app will support the trading features for digital currencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and Dogecoin.

Yahoo hinted that the service would be extended to Android, desktop, and mobile web platforms in the future. But, no further announcement has been made. Multiple people tweeted that the app feature will be available on the desktop version of Yahoo Finance.



Yahoo’s partnership with TradeIt is an initiative, to begin with, crypto trading. TradeIt is a platform that integrates brokerage services to act as a hub for trading financial assets. Yahoo did not mention the name of the brokerage platform where its iOS application is available to trade cryptocurrencies. The collaboration between Yahoo Finance and TradeIt was previously made in September 2017.

In April 2018, Yahoo Finance announced that it has acquired monetary stakes in Z Corporation. Z Corporation is a Tokyo-based cryptocurrency exchange and a subsidiary of Yahoo Japan.
