Ripple Becomes The Second Largest Cryptocurrency

Ripple (XRP) has once again overtaken Ethereum (ETH) and became the second largest cryptocurrency in the world. The market capitalization has increased even though it had volatility and a bearish market.
According to Coindelite’s Price Chart, Ripple (XRP) has become the world’s second largest cryptocurrency overtaking Ethereum. For now, Ethereum is the third-largest cryptocurrency.
The short-term success of XRP contrasts with the constant publicity of the Ripple that has seen in recent months. Ethereum developers move ahead with major technical developments, and most of them have mastered it. But when it comes to Ripple, it appears to be mired in criticism of both its products and senior executives. They delivered contradictory statements about the company.
In October, Brad Garlinghouse, CEO of Ripple said that he, even as the CEO of the firm cannot control the XRP ledger or change a transaction.
Mr. Garlinghouse said:
“I think there are a lot of people out there who are waging holy wars; they’re spreading misinformation because they have an economic interest in that.”

Recently the CEO said that There is a lot of FUD about XRP. FUD means “fear, uncertainty, and doubt.” Ripple, sells two payment products to banks. One of them is xCurrent, the software for settling cross-border payments with other banks.
Recently, at the Singapore Fintech Festival with IMF’s Deputy General Counsel the CEO spoke about the blockchain technology. He also included the distributed ledger technology and the ASEAN market. According to him, the regulatory clarity in countries such as Singapore, Thailand, and the Philippines, is favorable to establish a blockchain business.
