More Than 20,000 Retail Stores To Accept Bitcoins In France

Starting from 2020, Bitcoin payments will be launched at more than 25,000 stores for 30 French retailers. Decathlon and SephoraDecathlon and cosmetics store Sephora are also included in the retailer’s list.
The new digital currency payments system is launching via a partnership between point-of-sale technology provider Global POS. Including the EasyWallet application and payments platform Easy2Play.
While Bitcoin will be used as a payment method, funds will be automatically converted into euros at the moment of sale.
Conversion services will be provided by two partners, Deskoin and Savitar. These two firms are currently applying for Digital Asset Service Provider accreditations under France’s PACTE Act.
Including Decathlon and Sephora, Boulanger, Foot Locker, World House, Intersport, Cultura, Maisons du Monde, and Norauto these famous retailers will also be part of the project.
