On Dec 27, 2019, Responding to The Moon, YouTube tweeted that the bans were a mistake. YouTube stated:
Countless YouTube accounts banned in 2019
At the end of 2019, Infinite crypto YouTubers experienced bans and strikes, including Chris Dunn, Crypto Beadles and Altcoin Daily.
Chris Dunn wrote that YouTube has banned his channel for “harmful or dangerous content” and the “sale of regulated goods.”
YouTube has reportedly retreated the blocked crypto videos. while the Ivan on Tech said he received a strike for his deleted video and The Moon said YouTube threatened him with a strike after removing his video from Youtube.
A few weeks ago, YouTube signalled Ivan on Tech’s live stream as “harmful and dangerous,” The stream was ducked in the middle, and the channel executed with a 3-month suspension. It seems that YouTube doesn’t distinguish genuine videos from scams and fraudulent.
