Yesterday, Bitcoin was little enthusiastic towards its price and it has raised beyond $9,000 on CoinDelite’s Bitcoin Price Chart which made the history for the first time as a cryptocurrency.


Increasing to $9,000 in this weekend, the world’s largest cryptocurrency market capitalization hit a new high of $10,500 at 5:35 UTC, as market data shows. The high came after the exchanges in South Korea saw trading above the doorstep yesterday and today, U.S exchanges had to mark the milestone though.

Anyhow, at press time, the domestic exchanges including the Coinbase’s GDAX exchange, Paxos’s itBit exchange, and Gemini were all posting spot prices more than the $10,000 level.


Along with the growth, bitcoin is now in the top with more than 900% on a year-to-date basis, with the price increasing 230% since a low of $3,000 in mid-September.

The meteoric rise has pushed the combined market value for all cryptocurrencies to a new high. Bitcoin’s market capitalization is now close to $170 billion, additional market data shows.

At press time, the price of bitcoin is trading at 10,038.
