A maturing market and the transforming regulatory frameworks across the globe have called for platforms where like-minded visionaries can meet and discover groundbreaking projects. Amidst the hype created by the disruptive blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies, a few cities stand as leading hubs for events due to their stable regulatory framework for cryptocurrencies.
Berlin has emerged as a major hub for blockchain conferences and events with leading developers, investors, and entrepreneurs as an active part of the community. The capital of Germany has established itself as a respectable ecosystem for blockchain development and innovation.
Following the success of Pitcher Perfect on 15th February in Singapore, UCIM is all set to host the same at Berlin on 24th April 2019. The event envisions to bridge the gap between investors and innovators through the facilitation of communication and education in the blockchain space.
UCIM in Berlin will present a unique opportunity to connect with one of the world’s most vibrant tech development communities. It aims to catalyze the technology in its true essence by integrating the traditional aspects of centralization with the innovative ideas of a decentralized economy.
“We might not be able to get an entirely decentralized world in the near future, but we can hope to find a middle ground where centralized systems can be restructured,” shared Bimlesh Anand, Project Head at UCIM. “To do the same, we need the right projects to find the right investors and that’s exactly what we want to offer by organizing Pitcher Perfect,” he further added.
UCIM had kick-started its journey in Singapore, as part of the Asia Blockchain Week in November 2018. The event was a huge success and received an influx of attendees, exhibitors, and international speakers. Not only did the event feature panel discussions and speeches, but it also organized Pitch-a-thon, Golden Globe Awards, fireside chat, and gala dinner for all its attendees.
This was followed by Pitcher Perfect in Singapore, wherein startups and ICOs showcased their innovative projects and products in front of a jury consisting of high-profile investors. Apart from this, they also attended over 50 velocity meetings for one-on-one interaction with investors.
Through events such as Pitcher Perfect, UCIM attempts to create a value addition for all the participants. Sharing knowledge, building connections, and enjoying the overall ambiance of the event is all possible on the ticketless platform of UCIM.
